All services are provided by a board-certified music therapist. Individual music therapy and adapted lessons are typically provided in-home, but may be provided in a secondary mutually-agreed upon location such as a facility depending on therapist availability. Individual Music Therapy (1:1)
Individual music therapy services include:
-Music therapy assessment
-Music therapy treatment plan with individualized goals and objectives
-Music therapy interventions and experiences tailored to meet the client's needs. The goal is not to learn music, but instead to use music to meet non-musical goals.

*Frequency depending on therapist's assessment and availability. Most clients are seen 1x per week
Adapted Lessons
Adapted lessons are facilitated by a board-certified music therapist, but are not music therapy. In adapted lessons, the therapist uses their knowledge and expertise to adapt traditional music lessons to meet your child's needs.
Adapted music lessons are available for:
-Piano
-Voice
-Ukulele
-Guitar
-Violin
-General Music


Group Music Therapy (Adults)
Swan City Music Therapy currently provides group music therapy services in a variety of settings including memory care, assisted living, and behavioral health. Please reach out to us directly if you are interested in more information or would like to inquire about starting a contract with your facility.
Group Music Therapy (Children)
Swan City Music Therapy currently has limited availability for group music therapy in preschool/early childhood settings. Please reach out to us directly for more information.


Music Enrichment
Swan City Music Therapy has partnered with local facilities to provide music enrichment (such as family & me style) classes led by a board-certified music therapist in our community. If your facility is interested in contracting with us to provide music enrichment please reach out to us directly.
